Experience advanced driver education in Brisbane’s leading 4WD training centre
In 2022, Link Resources acquired Australian 4WD and Advanced Driver Education RTO 31223, and now operates out of the Kurwongbah facility nestled between Petrie and Dayboro.
Located just 30 minutes north of Brisbane’s CBD, the site has become a go-to destination for a wide range of driving and agricultural training courses. Spread across 1,000 acres of bush terrain, it’s been purpose-built to deliver hands-on advanced 4WD and driver training in real-world conditions.
Driver training that goes beyond theory & simulation
Our approach to driver training focuses on real-world learning, not just classroom theory or simulation. Every course is designed to build practical skills through hands-on experience, helping drivers handle the same challenges they’ll face on the road, worksite, or in the field.
Here’s why drivers and companies across Queensland choose our Kurwongbah facility:
Purpose-built areas that focus on skill, safety, and control
The site features dedicated road sections for driver awareness and hazard response, an emergency braking zone with both concrete and gravel surfaces, and a slalom area for steering and trailer control. Each section has been specially designed to support defensive driving and hands-on learning, giving participants the chance to safely practise advanced techniques before applying them in real-world conditions.
Suitable for all vehicle types across various industries
The Kurwongbah facility caters to every kind of vehicle, from light cars and 4WDs to heavy trucks, trailers, and agricultural machinery. This versatility makes it ideal for drivers across industries such as construction, mining, agriculture, utilities, and logistics. Training is designed to reflect real working conditions, so participants build relevant skills they can apply directly on the job.
4WD Training Brisbane companies trust to build field-ready skills
Backed by decades of industry experience, the Kurwongbah training centre delivers four wheel drive courses, trailer maneuvering education and more that go beyond theory. We’re proud to support the development of Queensland’s future workforce, training professionals across the utilities, council, energy and mining sectors with the skills, capability and qualifications to work safely and effectively in the field.
