Pole Saw Course Overview

FWPCOT3301 is a comprehensive program designed to train participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to safely and efficiently trim trees using a pole saw. Through a combination of theoretical learning and practical hands-on exercises, participants will gain an understanding of the principles of tree trimming, safe work practices, and the operation of pole saws.

Target Audience

Course Delivery

Face to face training and assessment is conducted at one of Link Resources purpose built training facilities. Upon arrangement, training and assessment can be conducted on-site at the premises of industry clients providing there a suitable infrastructure and industry training facilities.

Outcomes of Pole Saw Training

Students who are deemed competent will receive a Statement of Attainment for FWPCOT3301 – Trim trees using a pole saw, recognised under the Australian Qualifications Framework. This certification is nationally recognised. The Statement is issued by Link Resources Training Pty Ltd (RTO 45483).

This certification will demonstrate their competency and readiness to operate a pole saw and perform tree trimming tasks in a safe and professional manner.

Entry Requirements

All candidates must be literate in the English Language (no interpreters allowed).

Due to the physical performance requirements of course, all students are required to have the physical capability of operating a 5-7kg pole saw.

At enquiry, students can enter the program by expressing an interest and being sent an information pack that contains a booking notification and course information (Course Brochure). This interest process enables the RTO and client to work together to ensure the course is suitable for them and to identify any additional support needs & make adequate provisions.

No pre-requisites exist for this course.
