Our Story
A business created to lift industry standards
Link Resources began in 2013 when Angela Bradby and Tiffany Irving set out to lift the standard of training and workforce support across heavy industry. They had seen the impact of inconsistent training, unclear systems and personnel who were not prepared for the conditions they were entering. Their goal was to build a business that protected people and supported companies with practical guidance from professionals who understood the work.
Angela brings more than a decade of experience across the oil and gas sector, along with a strong background in operations and strategic growth. Tiffany brings extensive knowledge in health, safety, environment, quality, and human resources, with a clear focus on protecting people and assets. Together, they created an organisation built on clarity, honesty, real experience, and exceptional service.
A new phase of growth
In 2018, they partnered with Mark McKnight to develop the Training Division and bring new capabilities into the organisation. Mark strengthened the business through steady planning, regional expansion and a commitment to reliable service. Soon after, Wayne Hooper joined as Training Manager. Wayne brought years of military, education and rescue experience and helped shape the high standard of training Link Resources delivers today.
This leadership team used their collective background to develop an organisation that understands what heavy industry needs. Their focus on clarity and consistent delivery continues to guide the way Link Resources operates today.
Training facilities that replicate real-world scenarios
Link Resources delivers training and workforce services across multiple regions, with training centres designed to support real industry conditions. Our locations offer clients flexible options for on-site or off-site training while maintaining consistent quality across all the states we operate in.
Our training locations include:
Our industry-leading Kurwongbah training facility
Our Kurwongbah location supports a large portion of our driving and agricultural training in South East Queensland. Established in 2022 following the acquisition of Australian 4WD and Advanced Driver Education RTO 31223, this facility spans 1,000 acres of bushland between Petrie and Dayboro and offers four air-conditioned, brand new classrooms.
It features varied slopes for 4WD development, a controlled road section, a slalom course for steering technique, water crossings and an emergency braking zone with concrete and gravel surfaces. The layout supports all vehicle types and trailers and provides a realistic environment for safe, hands-on learning.
It’s this real-world training that sets us apart, as it builds practical skills, not just theoretical understanding. Participants know how to respond to real challenges on the ground because they’ve already experienced them in a controlled environment.
Why companies across Australia choose to train with Link Resources
Training courses customised to your team's needs
We learn the way your team works so we can create course material that reflects the tasks, risks and expectations of your industry. You can bring your people to our facilities, or we can train them on-site. Either way, your team receives training that connects with their day-to-day work and helps them build skills they can use immediately.
Labour hire built on long-term partnerships
Our personnel services follow the same collaborative approach. We work closely with clients to understand their expectations and the qualities needed for each role. Every placement is considered carefully so your operations are supported by people who fit your environment and contribute from the start.
Your success is our priority
Your deadlines guide how we plan, deliver and communicate. We stay responsive to changes in your operations, provide clear updates and make the entire process easy to manage. Clients rely on our consistency and our ability to deliver without adding pressure to their workload.
Capability driven by real heavy industry experience
Your team learns from people who have worked in the same environments they teach. Their experience helps them explain complex concepts simply, connect with participants and prepare teams for the realities of high-risk work.
Facilities and equipment built for high-risk environments
Your training is supported by facilities and equipment that replicate real work sites. This creates meaningful, hands-on learning and helps your team develop the skills they need before stepping onto a live site.
Partnerships that strengthen performance over time
Your business benefits from a long-term partner who understands your industry pressures, your workforce and your goals. We stay connected, provide honest feedback and support you through changing project requirements and workforce needs.
