AHCMOM216 – Operate Side by Side Utility Vehicles is a nationally recognised unit of competency that describes the skills and knowledge required to safely operate a side by side utility vehicle (SSUV). This includes carrying out essential pre-start checks, driving and manoeuvring the vehicle safely across various terrains, and following correct shutdown procedures.

The course focuses on the practical application of SSUVs in routine work environments. Participants will learn how to identify and manage common workplace hazards, conduct routine inspections, pre-operational checks and safely operate the vehicle in line with manufacturer guidelines and workplace safety procedures.
