Course details

This course covers the necessary skills and knowledge required to safely and competently remove non-friable asbestos to industry, workplace health and safety and Australian Standards.

This course includes but is not limited to planning & preparation, hazard identification, assessment, control & review, selecting and using safety equipment, isolating the removal area and working safely to remove asbestos, decontaminate the area, clean up the work site and complete the required documentation.

Target audience

This unit and training is suitable for all personnel working in operational roles undertaking work in constructions / demolition and related activates.

 

Outcomes of Non Friable Asbestos Removal Training

Students who are deemed competent will receive a Statement of Attainment recognised under the Australian Qualifications Framework. This certification is nationally recognised. The Statement is issued by Link Resources Training Pty Ltd (RTO 45483).

Course delivery

Face to face training and assessment is conducted at one of Link Resources purpose built training facilities. Upon arrangement, training and assessment can be conducted on-site at the premises of industry clients providing there a suitable infrastructure and industry training facilities.
