Conduct Lifting Operations Course Overview
This nationally accredited training covers all aspects of how to safely conduct lifting operations. Link Resources provides the necessary skills and knowledge required to safely and competently lift various objects with fixed lifting points in accordance with a safe work method statement.
Students will be taught to:
- Identify, report & record faults
- Undertake risk assessment and control
- Identify lifting equipment
- Lift and shift various loads safely
- Shut down equipment and cranes as per AS2550, manufacturer instructions and site procedures
Target Audience
This target audience is for personnel employed or looking to be employed in the warehousing, manufacturing, construction, resources and transport industries who will lift various items with pre-selected lifting equipment in accordance with Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) or Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
Course Delivery
Face to face training and assessment is conducted at one of Link Resources purpose built training facilities. Upon arrangement, training and assessment can be conducted on-site at the premises of industry clients providing there a suitable infrastructure and industry training facilities.

Outcomes of Conduct Lifting Operations Training
Students who are deemed competent will receive a Statement of Attainment recognised under the Australian Qualifications Framework. This certification is nationally recognised. The Statement is issued by Link Resources Training Pty Ltd (RTO 45483).

Entry Requirements
All students must be literate in the English language (no interpreters allowed).All students must be physically capable of performing load moving.
At enquiry, students can enter the program by expressing an interest and being sent an information pack that contains booking notification and course information (Course Brochure). This interest process enables the RTO and client to work together to ensure the course is suitable for them and to identify any additional support needs & make adequate provisions.

Training & Education Pathways: After achieving this unit of competency students may undertake a range of associated construction, resources, logistics and warehousing units and qualifications..
Employment Pathways: After achieving this unit of competency students may seek employment in warehousing, manufacturing, construction, resources and transport industries.
