In every state and territory in Australia, you need a certification from a registered training organisation to operate elevating work platform equipment.
This particular course is for elevating work platform equipment with a boom length of under 11 metres, or a scissor lift. To operate an EWP with a boom over 11 metres, regulations specify that you’ll need an Elevating Work Platform over 11m certification.
An elevating work platform (EWP) uses a telescoping device, hinged device, articulated device or any combination of these to raise personnel, equipment and materials to perform elevated work.
Some common examples of an EWP include boom lifts, vertical lifts, and scissor lifts. You’ll learn to operate elevating work platform equipment of all kinds in your course with us.
This nationally recognised training course gives participants the necessary skills and knowledge required to safely and efficiently operate EWPs in a variety of different terrains and situations. It is delivered by accredited trainers in all of our five training facilities across Australia.
This course is also offered with the Yellow Card in Tasmania. If you required the Yellow Card in Queensland or South Australia, contact us for more details.
