This Confined Space Entry course provides the knowledge and hands-on training needed to safely access, work in, and manage confined space tasks. Participants learn how to identify hazards, conduct gas testing, follow permit systems, and respond to emergency operations with the correct use of PPE.
Confined space training is essential for workers and supervisors involved in construction, mining, utilities, emergency services, and industrial maintenance. For more detailed regulations, refer to the Safe Work Australia – Confined Spaces Code of Practice.
Once all course requirements are completed, you will receive a Statement of Attainment that is nationally recognised across Australia.

This Confined Space Entry program is designed to give students the necessary skills and knowledge to safely and competently enter and work in confined spaces. Training and assessment are compliant with AS2865, including but not limited to:
If a worker is required to enter a confined space, a person conducting a business or undertaking (PCBU) must ensure a confined space entry permit is issued. This permit must be prepared by a competent person and provided to the worker before entry is allowed.

There are no academic pre-requisites. If you have special needs, individual training support can be arranged to help meet the learning outcomes and course requirements.
Participants should be prepared to engage in practical exercises involving gas testing, hazard identification, and confined space work practices.
If the participant is under 18, a parent or guardian must sign the enrolment form on behalf of the student. Students will be required to obtain the following PPE to complete their practical assessment and to wear it as part of the requirements for their final assessment.
No pre-course learning is required for this unit of competency.
