Course details

This course is designed for the Wardens or Emergency Officers who are required to respond to any type of emergency in the workplace – including fires, bomb threats, chemical incidents and terrorism. These key people are responsible for directing and controlling an emergency response in their designated areas and, ultimately getting people to safety.

Target audience

Warden/Emergency Officer Skills training is usually performed in conjunction with Chief Warden/Emergency Coordinator Skills Training and evacuation exercises to create a fully trained and competent Emergency Control Organisation (ECO). We recommend that your ECO members take part in these skill sessions at least every 6 months.

 

Outcomes of Fire Warden Training

Students who are deemed competent will receive a Statement of Attainment recognised under the Australian Qualifications Framework. This certification is nationally recognised. The Statement is issued by Link Resources Training Pty Ltd (RTO 45483).

Course delivery

Face to face training and assessment is conducted at one of Link Resources purpose built training facilities. Upon arrangement, training and assessment can be conducted on-site at the premises of industry clients providing there a suitable infrastructure and industry training facilities.
