Victoria has one of the highest concentrations of pre-1990 residential and industrial buildings in Australia. Bonded asbestos materials including cement sheeting, fibre cement cladding, floor tiles, and textured coatings are found throughout Melbourne’s established suburbs and in older commercial and industrial properties across the state. WorkSafe Victoria requires anyone removing non-friable asbestos in the workplace to be supervised by, or hold, a Class B asbestos removal licence.

Completing CPCCDE3028 is the required training step before applying for that licence. Yes. CPCCDE3028 is a nationally recognised unit of competency. Your Statement of Attainment is accepted by asbestos regulators and employers in all states and territories.
