The Sunshine Coast’s infrastructure pipeline keeps growing. Bruce Highway upgrades, hospital expansions, new residential subdivisions, and utilities works across the region mean a steady, ongoing demand for accredited traffic controllers. Queensland’s Department of Transport and Main Roads requires anyone controlling traffic with a stop-slow bat to hold formal accreditation, and that starts with completing an approved training course.
Link Resources delivers traffic controller training on the Sunshine Coast at our Warana facility. The classroom component is completed in a single day, covering workplace communication, WHS procedures, and the practical operation of stop-slow bat traffic control. From there, you complete a 20-hour on-site placement with a licensed traffic control company, then apply to TMR for your QLD accreditation.
