AURTGA001 – Drive and Manoeuvre Trailers is a nationally recognised unit of competency that covers the essential skills and knowledge required to safely operate and reverse trailers using a vehicle across various road and worksite conditions.

This course focuses on building practical towing skills, including coupling and uncoupling procedures, secure load handling, reversing into designated areas, aligning techniques, and performing safety checks prior to operation. Course delivery

This practical training course covers the required knowledge and skills to drive and manoeuvre a trailer while it is attached to a driving vehicle. It involves inspecting the trailer before use, connecting the trailer to a vehicle, driving the trailer, and disconnecting the trailer from the vehicle. The trailers may have non-pivoting axles or pivoting front axles.
