Courses Program

Link Resources is proud to support Construction Skills Queensland (CSQ) as a Registered Training Supplier (RTS). The CSQ Short courses program provides funding for a range of competencies for eligible workers in the building and construction industries.


To be eligible for funding, participants must be eligible workers or unemployed eligible workers (unemployed for four years or less) in the building and construction industries who are one of the following.

  • An Australian or New Zealand Citizen
  • A permanent resident of Australia
  • A holder of a refugee or humanitarian visa

Participants must also permanently reside or be permanently employed in Queensland.

How does it work?

Your training is subsidised by CSQ funding and is paid directly to Link Resources. Where CSQ funding doesn’t cover the full cost of your fees, you will be required to make a student contribution.


Which Link Resources Courses Are Covered by CSQ Funding?

Link Resources is now receiving funding and support from CSQ for a selection of our training courses. These are specific programs that are aimed towards construction workers and builders who are wanting to see their career reach new heights. Our experienced trainers, state of the art facilities, and partnership with CSQ means that we have everything in place to help all of our students meet their goals and move forward in their career.

Link Resources deliver the following subsidised courses under the CSQ Short Courses Program.


White Card Training

Obtaining a White Card, or a Construction Induction Card, is a requirement for several jobs within the construction industry in Australia. A White Card trains you on how to carry out tasks safely whilst working in the construction industry.

Gas Test Atmospheres Nv1.1

Gas Test Atmospheres

Link Resources’ Gas Test Atmospheres training course is targeted towards construction workers who work in the operations sector of their company. The people in this role will be responsible for testing the atmosphere of their worksite for hazardous gases, using electronic test apparatus, to ensure it is suitable for the proposed work.


First Aid & CPR Training

This one-day course will teach you everything you need to know about how to perform First Aid & CPR within the workplace. This is an essential requirement within many work environments and is especially relevant to workers within the construction and building industry.

Link Resources’ First Aid & CPR training course covers the necessary practical and theoretical knowledge you need to confidently apply in a range of situations.


Low Voltage Rescue

Low Voltage Rescue training will allow you to work in sites that involve LV electrical panels. This training will teach you all the skills and knowledge you need to know to be able to carry out a risk assessment of an electrically hazardous situation and confidently perform low voltage rescue procedures without risk to yourself of others. After completing this course, you will be ready to join construction and building teams that work around potential electrical hazards.

Health & Safety Representative

Being nominated as the Health & Safety Representative for a company is an important responsibility that shouldn’t be taken lightly. As one of our students, you’ll learn how to identify safety hazards and concerns and communicate them effectively with staff and management.
